AWB Class Action update

AWB Ltd has announced that the class action filed on behalf of US wheat growers against the company has been dismissed by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

ABC News reports that the Judge dismissed the action because ""Plaintiffs ... cannot show that AWB's conduct in Iraq was a 'proximate cause' of their injury, a required element of antitrust standing..".
